The negotiations between BCBSTX and Memorial Hermann were settled as of 3/11/2022 and they agreed to honor all claims submitted for services on or after 3/1/2022. ASAPallergy was just unable to verify benefits for patients or file claims for the first three weeks of March because our contract was through the MHMD Accountable Care Organization. Please ignore any mail you have received stating that Dr. Dickens is/was out of network for BCBSTX. A direct contract with BCBSTX was signed 2/25/2022, just was not activated prior to the reinstatement of Memorial Hermann’s ACO.
We are all sorry for the inconvenience that such prolonged corporate financial negotiations caused for hundreds of impacted patients and physicians.
We would appreciate it if you would please send a portal message or call the office to let us know if and when you received a letter from either BCBSTX or Memorial that stated that Dr. Dickens was out of network.
